Black Butler is definitely a unique anime and I highly recommend it. The plot involves young Ciel Phantomhive, the head of the Phantomhive estate along his butler Sebastian who just so happens to be a demon butler who has to protect and follow Ciel wherever he goes in exchange for his soul when he dies. The episodes follow mysteries going around and Ciel and Sebastian trying to solve them. The mysteries can be very disconnected and nonetheless seem to circle around mini plots rather than a whole one but still, it can connect to be something very groundbreaking you would never expect.
I recommend this for several reasons. The action is intense and well timed and placed. It is very entertaining and yes, there is some blood so if you are sensitive or scared of...blood then it may not be the anime for you, sorry! Also, the characters are all so diverse and have amazing backstories and skills that you may have never seen coming, this anime loves to surprise you and throw major plot twists in nearly every episode.
But, there are the cons. One, the situations or outcomes of solving mysteries may not always seem logical or even morally correct, in fact sometimes you wonder why they did that due to lack of explaining in the episode. Also, there are some sexual innuendos, they are hardly in episodes but yes, they are there and extremely noticeable when you see them, but they aren't too frequent so I wouldn't worry about it.
But despite the flaws it is still a noteworthy and watchable anime so I recommend it!

Anime Review: Food Wars!
So, on the quest for finding more anime to watch I stumbled across this one, originally I had read the manga so I noticed some changes but nonetheless it is the same story, a young cook is sent to a prestigious cooking school and is on the quest to become the very best! Sure it is pretty hard to get by with his simple yet delicious recipes and the judges but this is what makes the anime truly amazing! Now there is some sexual innuendos and a lot of tentacles that can be a downside for some viewers or readers.
The way the food is prepared makes you very hungry and you can't help but imagine the tastes and smells that are so deeply described and it is wonderful. Now it is not one of my top animes to watch but I still recommend it! The tentacles were a bit of a downside on the fact that it kind of distracted me or drove me away from the main point of the plot or story line in the episode/volume and could be a bit annoying as you just want to see what happens or the reaction without the over dramatic and sexual artwork at that very moment but I guess that it is part of the viewing experience and what makes the anime...that anime, Does that make sense? I don't know anymore...
But, the plot and different ways and unique aspects of the anime as well as the unusual, rarely seen setting makes it on my recommendation list because of how rare an anime like this comes around and how it just manages to pull off to be a good anime while reaching out to many audiences whether it be for the plot, the determined characters, tentacles, or just the food it can connect with a lot of watchers in an unusual way. It was not one of my personal favorites but I do recommend it just for the fact that there aren't a lot of other animes or mangas like this to really compare it to or even reference when looking at this anime at a logical and statistical viewpoint. Which is why you need to jump on this unique viewing opportunity.

Anime Review: Noragami
I really loved this one guys okay.
Yato is senpai.
Noragami takes place in Japan and focuses on a God named Yato. Yato is a homeless God and is hardly recognized by anyone. Yato is desperate for people to warship him and notice him and to do so he is slowly building up money by doing various favors to build himself his own shrine. Doing so he rids the world of Ayakashi and meets a girl named Hyori whose spirit can leave her body.
Overall this anime has a lot of perks including a good plot, likeable characters, good humor and some tense scenes which leads me to one of my favorite anime since Fullmetal Alchemist. I originally read the manga first and prefer the manga over the anime but still enjoy both equally the same. It has somewhat frequent nudity which can be disturbing to some (yes, it was disturbing to me) but hardly interrupts the fantastic animation, characters, and plot in the anime.
So many anime/manga fail to do this, be funny without forcing it too much or forcing the plot over the comedy. Noragami has a fantastic way of balancing both to provide such an amazing experience for the reader/watcher and I highly reccomend it. Sure there are some random plot points at times but they still are enjoyable and don't stray too far from the main plot or characters in the series. Also, the characters are all relatable in a special way that I highly enjoy and makes me really enjoy the characters which, in my opinion, is the best part of the anime.

The narrator for Attack on Titan (the hidden identity) Part ONE
MAJOR SPOILERS DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED THE ATTACK ON TITAN MANGA
PLZ.
I recently finished the Attack on Titan manga. WTF Armin dies? Apparently so as he is burned to death by Bertolt in Titan form (jerk) but this raises a question that I was just contemplating, wasn't Armin believed to be the narrator for Attack on Titan? The evidence is the fact that the main narrator was the same voice actress the voiced Armin in the Japanese dub. And the fact that Armin seems to have a play in all the situations that are described.
However, Armin cannot be the narrator. I have several reasons for this, 1, Armin is in fact, now dead so if he was the narrator then there would no longer be any manga or anime, which is highly unlikely because the Titans are currently still reigning. 2, Armin is actually not present for most of the situations that appear in the manga or anime, such as scenes from episode 1 when Eren's mom dies or episode 9 when the survey corps are in the first mission we as viewers and reasons get to view. 3, isn't there someone else who has a lot of near-death experiences and yet still survives for some odd reason? You all know who I'm thinking of...
HANGE (Hanji) ZOE
Yes there is evidence that this is not true, especially the fact that she was not a part of the anime/manga for the first story arcs and even so has her own troops to lead it would be impossible to have that much involvement and still only be a Squad Leader. However, she does have a lot of near death experiences and seems to not die. Strange isn't it? Surely a reckless character like her would of course be dead now wouldn't she?
Wait, there is one character, no, two that seem to have view as titans and humans and are close to the members of the survey corps. Bertolt and Reiner. They are the ones who started this mess and nonetheless have involvement in both the Titan world and the world of humans and of course are some of the best candidates for the narrator.
But there is also Zeke, the ape titan, who can turn people into Titans and is a Titan-shifter himself. By far he has the most views on the situation as he is most likely the main cause for the situation?
So, we have: Zeke, Bertolt, and Reiner as possibilities for the narrator.
We WILL uncover the narrator by part 2.
Promise.

Anime Review; Hetalia:Paint it White!
There are some spoilers but I wouldn't worry about it! ^_^
So, I had finally found a free website that provided me streaming of the animated Hetalia movie: Hetalia: Paint it White. Now I definitely have mixed feelings about this piece of work and despite me loving it naturally because of how much I LOVE the series, I have to look this at a logical viewpoint and judge it from there!
So here are the cons of the movie that I saw while watching. The plot moves very fast and may be confusing as this makes some aspects of the story line confusing and such, or unnecessary. However, those of us who have watched Hetalia know that this is in their signature storytelling style. Also, it seemed a bit childish, even more than the original series. Basically, aliens are invading and the countries must stop them from making the Earth all freaking boring and white! It is a bit unoriginal and yet I was still fond of it. Also, there were clips from the original series, which threw me off a bit as I thought the writers were building a completely different side subplot.
But enough about the cons! Here are the pros! I loved how even in this out-of-this-world situation, the countries personalities were as vibrant and colorful as ever giving this movie the experience we had when watching the series for the first time. I also enjoyed all the fan references that still play today, such as Switzerland and Liechtenstein's barrier of neutrality that kept them safe from the attacks, and the FrUk shipping reference that I totally fangirled over, but no offense to you UsUk shippers out there! I also enjoyed all the former episode references that mentioned different characters and different scenarios.
Out of ten I give it a 7/10, but nonetheless still recommend it to a hardcore Hetalia fan like me!

My Top 5 anime/manga (so FAR)
I started this blog when I had literally only watched 7 anime, 7 and I thought I was some kind of expert but nope! Now I have read/watched so many manga/anime because I stay up until 2:30 every night watching anime. Now, keep in mind these are my opinions and out of the many anime I have watched, I prefer those with action and storyline combo that keeps you hooked and watching until the end.
SO...
Shall we get into it then?
LET'S GO.
Oh and if you look down, yes you noticed that 4/5 of my top 5 are mainstream anime. That is 80% of my life and you hipsters and other mainstream haters probably just threw your computer out a window, which is a shame because it cost money! But if you are still here this is my opinion afterall and I do like these for my own personal reasons, not because everyone else likes it. So if you have a heart I am sure will hear me out. Okay? Okay. (Ha, Fault in Our Stars Reference ;)...D':)
5. Hetalia
This anime is widely known, but is not too mainstream due to the fact that some may not like and such, but compared to the others on this list, it is hardly mainstream. The basic plot is that the countries of the world are embodied by people and it goes through history in a hilarious way that takes away all seriousness. It is funny, entertaining, and I can watch 3 episodes without cutting into my schedule because each episode is only 5 minutes long. Many may find this anime offensive to their culture, but I found stereotypes for some surprisingly true. Plus the eyebrow game is strong in this anime, perhaps even stronger than Erwin's. All you need to know is that it is VERY comedic and entertaining but a bit offensive. Oh! And you should totally watch it!
4. DeathNote
Here is where we get a bit mainstream folks, so brace yourself. I enjoy this anime for the tense setting that is always present and the incredible strategy and surprising plot turns throughout each episode. As well as the diverse characters that despite their differences have a same ability. Some use it for justice, others use it for love, and maybe for friendship, and terror. Each character is unsure to live till the end and I just fell in love with the ever building story. L fascinates me, no not just for looks, but his detective skills and use of his disadvantage to ultimately provide the upper hand. The story follows Light Yagami, a highschool student who gets his hand on a notebook that can kill people. And he will win or lose against the strategic team, with the leader of detective L to stop this killing spree. Oh and Light takes a potato chip and eats it! Anyway watch it please!
3. Attack On Titan
This anime is gory, harrowing, and bloody and definitely will disturb you in some ways, but nonetheless it is a fantastic piece of fiction that will surprise you. The plot follows Eren Jaeger, a young boy who has lived inside the walls humanity has lived in for a century. These walls protect them from Titans, large creatures who eat humans. It is fantastic and grows a quite complex story line that may be hard to follow once you get into the latter issues of the manga. The artwork is incredible and each character is unique to their pasts and look on the situation. Oh and it is very emotional, I have cried once or twice (a million times) during this anime as characters you trust, love, and hate can meet the same terrible fate. So I highly recommend it, but remember the plot gets very complex and somewhat confusing as the story edges on.
2. Tokyo Ghoul
Another harrowing, disturbing, and frightening anime. This follows Ken Kaneki, a boy who lives in modern day Tokyo, who share the city with a species called ghouls. Ghouls are just like normal humans, except their hunger for human flesh and ability to use a weapon that emerges from their body called Kagune. The story line in the manga and in the anime differ greatly, especially as we get into Root A, the second season of the anime. I definitely prefer the manga over the anime as I feel the plot flows a bit better in this one than in the anime, which edges on in some areas that really aren't necessary. For example, I enjoy Hinami with a more mysterious relationship with her parents than with the over explained one in the anime, because all you really need to know is how much she loves her parents. However, it is a wonderful manga/anime that is crafted precisely and I heavily enjoy.
1. Fullmetal Alchemist/Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
You will not hear any terrible feedback for this anime because it is amazing in so many ways. This anime involves two brothers named Alphonse and Edward Elric. In an alchemy ritual gone wrong, Edward Elric lost his arm and his leg, and his brother Alphonse became nothing but a soul in armor. Equipped with mechanical "auto-mail" limbs, Edward becomes a state alchemist and serves the military while trying to find the Philosophers Stone, the one thing that can restore the stolen limbs and Al's body. This anime is serious and emotional but still keeps a humor with the comedic and hot headed main character, Edward. This was the third anime I have watched and I love it so much. It is fantastic and I recommend it to everyone. It has a terrible and disturbing background plot that plays heavily into the main, slowly solving the unknown for the reader/watcher one chapter or episode at a time. The author, Hiromu Arakawa has an amazing strategy for giving each of her characters a certain distinguishable charisma that makes every watch and read enjoyable for the consumer. It was well worth my time and I highly recommend it.
Here are some honorable mentions!
-No Game No Life
-Sword Art Online
-Your Lie In April
-Neon Genesis Evangelion
-Food Wars
-Black Butler
Hope you enjoyed!

Hatsune Miku and Vocaloid: My opinion
Vocaloid has taken the world by storm, including hologram concerts of our vocaloid friends and amazing songs we can listen to 10 hour loops of.
If you didn't already know, vocaloid is Japanese vocal songs performed/ "written" by fake or nonexisting characters. There are many artists that can perform in concert. Yes. People actually pay to see a hologram perform. You don't believe me, take a picture of this image that showcases her performance in Los Angeles, California.
So as you can see, Japan is already making money off it's stars, one of the most popular being the blue-haired Hatsune Miku. I personally LOVE Hatsune Miku and even has her as my usernames on most game services. It is fantastic! I love vocaloid because it is an incredible technology. As well as the looks of the characters and the songs that they sing. However, it may have some ethical issues, as services are paying for no one to perform if you look at this logically, it is still something I enjoy and I would definitely pay to see her in concert. However, there are a few who don't look at Vocaloid this way and instead find it something that is plaguing the music industry. Sure, it allows more money to be gained for there is no need to pay the artist. But, it is a risky development.

As seen in both the Elders react to Hatsune Miku and Kids react to Hatsune Miku, which can be seen by clicking those two links down below:

The idea of having a nonexistent character seen is hardly as meaningful or enjoyable as seeing a real person sing a song, however, some also think that the advancement in technology is fascinating and innovative. In reality however, most people would rather see a real person perform. I agree, that a real person's voice is more genuine, but when listening to songs I really look at the lyrics rather than the voice, or the melody, having a vocaloid is no different than an actual artist in this aspect. However, I do like Hatsune Miku's voice because it is virtually perfect and made to sound perfect.

Boku No Pico Review
*Sexual Spoiler Tension*
I WATCHED BOKU NO PICO
MY INNOCENCE IS GONE (lol it was gone a long time ago)
Do I really have to review this?
Yes.
Because I must review every anime I watch.
Boku No Pico is a 3 episode long anime about a young boy who learns the meaning of life. Now for younger, innocent readers I will not go in depth but an older man, who is sexually attracted to Pico has...um.... how do I describe this without saying the word? He has fun with him...in bed....yeah let's say that. Pico then teaches his other friends the meaning of life...in bed.
Pico is a crossdresser and a young child and this really disturbs me, including the bare footage of certain scenes that makes me shiver in agony. It is very mature and is way worse than anyone makes it out to be. Very sexual, do not watch. Even if you are tempted don't.
And even on the logical side, there is no story line. I can't even remember half of the character's names and can only remember things I don't want to remember. I don't even know what happens to some of the characters, or the reason why they do things, they just do! I don't understand. If it had a storyline maybe I would've overlooked some aspects, but I cannot and refuse to ever watch it again.

My Top 10 favorite anime characters
Spoilers *duh*
Let's go!
10. England (Arthur Kirkland) : Hetalia
I loooovvvee England especially his Marakaite Chikyuu and how he fights with France all the time. And his eyebrow game is strong. Try to compete with that Erwin! I just love his personality and since I loved London and England all in the first place I couldn't help fall in love with this character. And America's spring cleaning, that episode really made me understand the deep relationship between England and America and I couldn't help but continue to fall in love. BUT I don't ship USA x England. Fruk all the way.
9. America (Alfred F. Jones) : Hetalia
I also love America. I really underestimated him until the spring cleaning episode(s). I just really fell in love with him after that and I will always really enjoy this character. As an American, I really loved being represented that way, because honestly it's true. We love our fatty foods and we use crazy measures to lose weight too. I also ship Rusame hard. It is seriously my OTP I love this ship so much and nothing can change that. Thanks a lot Tumblr.
8. Kaneki Ken (black haired...just for comprehension purposes! ^_^): Tokyo Ghoul
Why Tokyo Ghoul Root A! WHYYYY. I loved the little innocent, bookish, nerdy Kaneki. I had a crush on him for the entire first season. What really set in stone that I loved this aspect of Kaneki was how upset I was when Kaneki became a bad*ss white haired ghoul. NO! That is not how Kaneki works, he is human and I can't believe that the writers had this character accept this bad side. He never would have done this. I loved cinnamon roll, book nerd Kaneki. Also WTF Hide you can't just die!!!
7. Edward Elric: Fullmetal Alchemist
Sigh... oh sorry I was having a nosebleed. I had a crush on Edward FOREVER despite shipping Edx Winry. But despite all these complicated feelings I loved this character. He was such a unique character and I loved his hatred for being called short. I just found it adorable. And one aspect you got to see, was that Edward grew up and matured to be a wonderful person. I loved how he always stood by his brothers side and loved his family so much. OMG I just love this character.
6. Levi: Attack on Titan
I love Levi. Not just his looks however, but his incredibly sad story and tragic background. How both Farlan and Isabel were killed, how he lived a life of crime and trouble in the underground cities. How everything was taken from him. His friends, and his squad. But, I really do enjoy how he fights Titans and his nonchalant personality, because that's how I acted all through middle school. He is bad*ss skills and his story really allowed me to fall in love with this character.
5. Shiro: No game No life
Sigh, another slightly nonchalant character? What can I say? I love when people show no enthusiasm. I enjoy her subtle yet close to none innocence and how she reacts to new people she meets. I enjoy seeing her tactics anf hate of losing, because I hate to lose to. In fact, I loved this character so much I made my username on Agar.io blank for a while for the purpose of her being blank. Just so you all know, my new username is One Hell Of A Cell if you are interested in teaming with me(or eating me, or being eaten by me) in Agar.io. Oh speaking of a black butler reference...
4. Mey Rin: Black Butler
I love how amazing this character is because of all the complex aspects of her personality. She is clumsy but cares about Ciel and keeps the glasses that impair her vision because of her caring nature towards Ciel. I also enjoy her respect, slight fear, and crush on Sebastian. But, my favorite aspect of her is how truly amazing she is. Once those glasses come off, you know your situation is Sh*t. She can never miss a shot and is a truly dangerous woman, but in all the same keeps her quirky personality.
3. L: Deathnote
More little quirky people. Not only do I nosebleed at the site of him, but the fact at how original this character is made the viewing experience of this anime even more amazing than what it already was. His strategic skills are amazing and I absolutely was in awe when he was able to figure out so much about Kira after airing a small T.V. snippet. Not only that, but I can relate to his introvertedness and his love of everything sweet. Plus, he has an unintentional humor that allows you to smile and ease the tension of the anime. Rest in peace L, you never deserved to die.
2. Prussia: Hetalia
EINS ZWEI DREI VIER. Omg despite all the introverted characters on this list I can't help fall in love with this character mostly because I want to be like him. Outroverted and unafraid to speak his mind! He annoys all the countries by doing this, but still he is so awesome he honestly doesn't care. And his love for his brother makes me realize you can be a wonderful person despite being loud and obnoxious. And another thing! Most characters that are loud and obnoxious make me want to see past that layer of the character, but this aspect of Prussia enhances his character rather than downplay it. It was a dangerous choice for the character, but it paid off.
1. Hanji Zoe: Attack on Titan
I have a lot to say on this one, so hear me out. I've always wanted an anime character to be the true embodiment of me. I wanted someone i could truly relate to because I felt as no one else truly understood me. No one enjoyed anime like I did, or my nerdy quirkiness. Or my attraction to the animated characters, people found me weird and I did not feel like I had anyone to relate to when it came to my otaku-ness. Until I saw Hanji in Attack On Titan. She was nerdy, strange, but so AMAZING. She looked like me, acted like me, it's as if I had an animated sister. It was fantastic. I felt as if this was one person I could relate to. Her craziness and abnormality, yet her caring attitude. She freaking ran into a door at top speed and Petra had to open it for her, that is something I would probably do to! Since I did break the handle on our front door once. She is a person I will always relate to and that is why I fell in love with this character. She was me.

Let's go!

WHY MUST YOU HATE SWORD ART ONLINE
Sigh.
So basically I was scrolling around the internet when I realized...
SAO GETS SO MUCH HATE.
To be honest I'm actually part of this hate and it is not the best anime, but this was one of the first anime I had ever watched so, it holds a special place in my heart. Sure the romance is a bit forced (in my opinion) and the story line is also a bit rushed as we move from floor 4 to 50 in two episodes and before we know it, it has been two years. But, if we look past all the logical flaws, we are comparing this to other anime as we go. Perhaps you are judging the action, and in return simply compare it to Attack on Titan, or look at the romance and immediately compare it to Ouran HighSchool Host Club. It will be worse than those two in your opinion .
That's it.
YOUR OPINION.
Not only in Sword Art Online, but with other anime as well. We are always judging it and comparing it to other anime. Here's a good example, Boku No Pico. This anime is sexual and disturbing and watching only 6 minutes of one episode did it for me, but I read the synopsis afterward to see if I was missing out on anything. But no. Some people may like it. I am not completely sure why but they just do.
The same applies to Sword Art Online.
Some people may really like it, I somewhat like it but it still holds a dear place in my heart that makes me sad when people criticize it.
You know what makes a good anime/manga/any content really?
The fact that you like it.
Sure I criticize things and that is OKAY because I still like it and that is all that matters.
Tokyo Ghoul gets hate but I love it and that's all that matters.
If you like an anime that is all that it takes to be considered a good anime.
Just needed to rant a bit, Gomen'sai.

What's up people
First of all...
HI!
Second of all..
We seriously need to talk about this opening.
It has been a while since I have finished Deathnote, but...I have a hidden grudge against it's second opening. I'm not saying it's bad, not at all, it's unique definitely.
OKAY I JUST DON'T LIKE IT.
Let us start with the first opening and how much I like it. I loved this opening because it really captured what the anime was about, especially the animation. The intense rivalry with Light and L, Misa's somewhat of dependence on Light. APPLES. Then you get to the second opening. Lots of color first of all, and then we get a whole bunch of shaking, angry little Light faces. I laughed, I had no idea if this was being serious or not. But no, this was the actual opening. I even looked it up on youtube, but no, all of this was just...
What's up people?
Apparently a lot considering the opening.
Sure I do like the song (it's okay but I really hate the cursing part because I just hate cursing *sorry*) but the animation made it seem like a joke, as if this very serious, intense anime was just a big joke and we were the punchline or something like that. It does capture some aspects of the anime well, such as all the new characters. But, Misa especially, some characters seemed limited in the anime as if the creators themselves were stereotyping their own creations!
Maybe this is true...
But it is probably just me hating the opening.
Sorry if you like this opening.
I will say this for those of you who like this opening...
It could've been worse.

Ani-May is over, but this blog isn't!
I started this blog in the heat of the otaku season...
ANI-MAY
An entire month dedicated to manga and anime? It was truly the best month of my life! So, why not create a blog to show my love of Ani-May? Oh yeah! Now, this blog was planning to end at the end of May because I have a busy schedule, and this blog may not be able to fit into my schedule. BUT seeing that I had some international support from countries like Germany (doitsu! doitsu!), the USA, and Sweden...wow! I'm just an introverted teen obsessed with anime and getting to be known internationally!? WOW.
I want to thank you all for giving me so much support and now, because of you guys...this blog is not over! We must all unite together! Plus, a group named $WAG and other internet groups are planning to ban a whole bunch of fandom related content off of social networks such as Tumblr, Blogger, Pinterest, etc. I'm going to write more! I'm going to keep this blog going for as long as I can! Even into college perhaps!
Thank you all, and sorry it was a bit short, but I was working on my No Game No Life review and I'm kind of exhausted, but whatever, as long as I have my anime playlist going, and you guys I think I can stay up all night (lol no).
Thanks! And sorry this was super cheesy but I truly am grateful!
ARIGATO AND SAYONARA
(omg What's up people came on my playlist from Deathnote after listening to Rain from Fullmetal Alchemist, I almost fell of my chair)
Anywhooo

No game no Life review
Somwhat Spoiler-ish
OMG.
Okay so at first I really underestimate this anime. I didn't even consider giving this a chance until I watched top 200 anime openings and really enjoyed the opening. So, is this anime good or not? It depends.
This anime has a strategic aspect to it that may be hard to follow due to the character's brilliant mind, as well as a comedic aspect that is somewhat uncomfortable at times to watch or seemingly very forced. However, the story line is mesmerizing and the game play that is seen in this anime is absolutely breathaking and really captures your attention and is definitely a part of the anime that I thoroughly enjoyed.Sure, it may not take itself so seriously but it does it in a way that entertains the watcher. Also it is super intense and yet funny at the same time which is something some animes can do a very poor job of executing.
At twelve episodes the anime follows two NEET siblings, Sora and Shiro who are transported to the magical world of games by the kawaii god Tet who means business (kind of) they want to rule the new world and ultimately defeat Tet! So, the gaming geeks dominate the world one game at a time with help from the not-as-idiotic-as-she-seems Steph and other friends whose names are unknown because if they were this would have official spoilers!
The anime can capture many crowds, and although it leaves you wanting to know what really happens and a more proper ending that can really close off the series by the end of the twelfth episode, it really is a treat and I thoroughly enjoyed it! If you like Deathnote, Fullmetal Alchemist, and other strategic animes I ask that you watch it despite the sometimes atrocious humor. However, sometimes the humor is a good breather.
